Our Home Comforts Team offers gardening, painting, DIY, clearing slippery paths, moving furniture so that a person who’s sight is failing is able to see the television, bringing shelves down to a level where the resident is able to reach without standing on a stool. The Team will fetch paint and material on behalf of the resident. They will also take curtains down have them washed and ironed at our Bright Street Laundry and put back up again.
Current Team Members
Chip Frith (Team Manager) and his team, Dave Hicking and Tim Hallam (Supervisors) and Daniel Shaw, with the support of volunteers, do invaluable work for local people, in their own homes.
