Our board members have a vast wealth of experience and knowledge of the working of this organisation, the voluntary sector, funding issues, legal compliance and partnership working. One of our key strengths is the way in which we work in close partnership with other organisationsfor the benefit of the community. Financial Systems

Our robust financial systems and monitoring systems ensure that our Funders’ requirements are met and that we comply with financial and legal regulations.

Reserves Policy

It is the considered view of the trustees that it is necessary and in the best interest of the organisation that a reserve fund be maintained. The reserve fund, equivalent to three months expenditure, is a balance of ‘free’ unrestricted funds that have not been committed or designated for a particular purpose.  This reserve fund is required to enable the organisation, in the short-term, to maintain ongoing services should a reduction or withdrawal of funding occur and enable financial commitments to be fulfilled.

CCE has been in existence since 1992. All of our workers and volunteers are reference checked and CRB checks are also carried out.
