Working in partnership

Working in partnership with other organisations enables us to support specific projects for people in our local community - and beyond. Here are some examples of recent projects:

Allsorts project (with SEDC / ESF)

This project provides support for local people who wish to enrol on courses, by paying their fees for them. In some cases, people have taken more than one course. These are the types of courses we have provided support for:

    • Active Life—Healthy Living
    • NVQ III Early Years
    • Befriending OCN Level
    • First Aid Appointed Person
    • Basic Food Hygiene
    • IT CLAIT

    • Paediatric First Aid
    • Office Skills
    • Picture It!

If you would like to apply for funding, please contact us  and we'll let you know if we can help.

Skills & ladders project (with SEDC / ESF)

Following a visit to a Centre for children with mental and physical disabilities, in Romania (arranged in conjunction with South East Derbyshire College),we have established a support organisation, the "Friends of the Primavara Centre".  The centre is committed to providing support for children at risk in low-income families, through their "Nadis" programme.

Friends of PrimaveraMeeting the Children and Parents

In June 2006 as part of a team of 18 (from 5 countries) we visited the Centre again, where during the working sessions we all met the children, parents and grandparents being supported by the “Friends of the Primavara Centre”.

We currently have over 20 active sponsors, and are able to support 23 children and 1 disabled adult.

Young Friends of Primavera
